Hybe

Hybe village is ideal for everyone who is looking for a break from everyday busy life and relaxation in the nature. Hybe is situated in Upper Liptov in the valley of the river ’Hybica‘and the river ‘Biely Váh‘. The whole centre of the village, where also our accommodation is located, has been recognised as a Slovak cultural heritage site. Hybe is also a birthplace of many famous Slovaks: Ondriš Jariabek, Peter Jaroš and Dobroslav Chrobák. Dobroslav Chrobák has got a museum dedicated to him in Hybe. The village and surrounding areas offer excellent conditions and facilities for both winter and summer sports – ski poma lift, winter cross-country skiing tracks, great cycling and hiking tracks, some of which start directly in the village. Mushroom foraging is also very popular. The village is surrounded by beautiful dense forests and meadows with magnificent views of the village and The Western Tatras Mountains. Due to its unique location and close access to the highway, Hybe is a fantastic starting point for trips to other interesting places and attractions of Liptov, The Low Tatras Mountains further areas of the Spiš region.

Liptov

Liptov is a colourful mountain region situated in North Slovakia, in Liptov valley surrounded by the Low and High Tatras Mountains, Chočské vrchy and Veľká Fatra. In the area of 2000km2 you can see the highest number of protected nature sites in Slovakia. Half of the Liptov area is covered in forests. Here you can also find ‘Demänovské jaskyne‘, the most visited cave system in Slovakia which is accessible to public. The longest river of Slovakia ‘Váh‘ flows through the region and supplies the reservoir ‘Liptovská Mara‘. The pride of the region are historic manor houses and other cultural and historical sites. All lovers of summer or winter sports will be fully satisfied with what Liptov has to offer. In summer you can use hiking and cycling tracks, aquaparks, thermal streams and lakes for swimming.
